Gayle Johnson is an experienced nonprofit executive and founder of EVOLVE Life Coaching. She helps organizations build great leaders and great internal cultures through leadership development and addressing the core challenges of culture that are holding them back from moving forward.
Gayle is a Seattle native. She graduated from Roosevelt High School, attended the legendary Spelman College in Atlanta, GA, and then transferred to the University of Washington, where she received a B.A. Degree in Political Science.
Her experience as a transformational thought leader is informed by a Master of Transformational Leadership from Seattle University.
Gail is a passionate advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion theory and practice and thrives in chaotic environments by bringing structural change and clarity to both purpose and mission.

About Valtas Group
The Valtas Group was started in 2018 by joining together the knowledge and experience of three distinct but related organizations with a nonprofit lens.
The Founders of these organizations grew concerned about the lack of professional services in the nonprofit sector specifically addressing the leadership transition tsunami taking place. Over 50% of nonprofits will have an Executive Director, CEO, or COO Deputy Director turnover in the next five years. This lack of “bridge talent” when an organization needs it the most causes significant risk to the missions of nonprofits. Valtas Group was formed to fill this gap.
