Our speakers included Liz Jarrard from Jubilee Women’s Center, Dominique Cantwell from Bainbridge Performing Arts, and Marcia Wright-Soika from FamilyWorks. Each brought their own unique perspective on fundraising in today’s climate. Today we’re going to recap their advice and ideas so that you can benefit from their wisdom whether you attended or not. We are excited to announce that experienced nonprofit leaders Dudley Callison and Jim Goddard are now teaming up to lead our organizational outreach efforts in Colorado. With their combined 65 years of nonprofit experience, they bring a wealth of knowledge around important nonprofit topics like strategy, fundraising, leadership transition, and risk management to the table. They work hard to be at the forefront of the nonprofit sector in Colorado, staying apprised of current trends and maintaining strong connections throughout the community.
Dudley and Jim use their expertise to advise nonprofit boards on how to best manage the loss (or impending loss) of their Executive Director as well as follow compliance and regulatory guidelines to mitigate organizational risk. With experience that ranges the gamut from program management all the way up to full-time executive level roles, both are well-positioned to help organizations and their leadership weather the ups and downs of nonprofit management. Whether it’s to hire an interim nonprofit Executive Director, solicit a nonprofit consultant to act in a board advisory capacity, or find a nonprofit speaker for your next event, we strongly encourage leadership teams at nonprofit organizations across the region to reach out to them to start a conversation today! ![]() We are proud to announce that the upcoming 2024 Western Philanthropy Conference is sponsored by Valtas Group and CFO Selections.
