Robin has 20 years of experience leading and advising mission-driven businesses and nonprofit organizations in media, financial services, and environmental sustainability with an emphasis on climate change. Robin recently served as a contract Nonprofit Executive Director and CFO of Oregon Consumer Justice, a start-up consumer protection nonprofit organization. He established the overall foundation of the organization, launched its initial programs and grantmaking, and facilitated the recruitment of its senior leadership team. Prior, he was the Nonprofit Executive Director of Ascent Funding, a community development financial institution that provided capital and advisory services to minority and women entrepreneurs. He has also served as a nonprofit consultant doing project-based work with nonprofit organizations and public agencies including The Seattle Foundation, Special Olympics of Oregon, Prosper Portland and others. Robin holds both Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and Columbia University, respectively. He has also received an Executive Education certificate from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Robin presently serves on the Grant Committee of the Portland Clean Energy Fund, as a nonprofit board member of B-Local PDX, and on the Investment and Audit Committee of The Russell Family Foundation. Robin is based in Portland, OR and is currently accepting clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. When not working, he enjoys growing food in his garden, cooking, biking, and photography
