Emily Lee

Senior Associate

​Emily brings a varied background from her eight years with a boutique Human Resources consulting firm and nine years of experience with a school district. She has a strong focus on customer service, administration, and relationship management. Emily has excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a successful track record of fostering innovation to keep pace with rapid changes in school and business environments.

Emily values the input from all stakeholders and builds positive relationships with everyone that she interacts with. The foundation of her interactions is based on respect, kindness, and equity to foster trust and understanding.

She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in Human Resources.

Emily has been an active volunteer in her community, serving on the boards of the local Girl Scouts of Western Washington service unit and her children’s PTSA. She enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Ravens and Bruins, baking, and snuggling with her three cats.

 "Ed Rogan from Valtas Group provided Executive Search for a new CEO.  Ed brought decades of experience to the Search process.  He was able to work with staff and the Board to develop an up to date job description and requirements.  Valtas conducted a wide search which yielded nine qualified candidates. Ed worked closely with the Board and a Search Committee to narrow the list to a smaller group to be interviewed. He handled all of the arrangements of the interviews, assisting with obtaining a suitable location and interview materials, including detailed background investigation work.

Once a preferred candidate was selected, Ed managed the contract negotiation process with confidentiality and expediency.

Although I am glad to put the entire Executive Search process behind me, I will miss Ed Rogan’s sage advice and professionalism.

During this entire process of the Executive Search and the Interim CEO I have been very happy with every aspect of the Valtas Group. Should I find myself in need again, I would seek out the Valtas Group without hesitation."
