 Valtas Group is pleased to announce that Jeffrey P. Lewis has joined our consulting team.
Jeff Lewis has served in executive and Board leadership roles at non-profit organizations in the region for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Valtas, he had a long career in banking where he focused on serving small to medium sized businesses. He served as founding President and CEO of a start-up community bank for eleven years. He began his professional life as a program manager for Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and founding executive director for their political action committee.
It was recently announced that Kellie Morrill was selected as the new Executive Director at Tiny Trees Preschool, a very unique organization making an impact in the community.
 Now that you’ve defined your passion (as discussed in Part 1), you need to find the right non-profit organization to volunteer for as a board member.
The many ways There are many ways to identify potential non-profit organizations that will make good candidates for you to choose from, including:
 Being recognized for Corporate Philanthropy has long been thought of as a nice PR benefit of business giving. However, “giving” just isn’t enough. Even being a good corporate citizen can be improved upon. Being a socially responsible business should be the goal of every company's giving program.
