Jubilee Women’s Center has announced Elisabeth (Liz) Jarrard as their new Executive Director. Jarrard brings a proven track record of leadership excellence to the role and is excited to usher in this next chapter. In speaking of the road ahead, she has said, “I am wholeheartedly aligned with the mission and programming of Jubilee Women’s Center. It is needed, and it is effective. When we support each other, our entire community benefits.” Having formerly worked at Compass Housing Alliance for a decade, Jarrard has considerable experience across the affordable housing and emergency services sectors. Following her hire, Rosemary Dunigan, President of the Board of Directors, expressed this sentiment regarding Jarrard’s qualifications for the role: Elisabeth brings a wealth of leadership experience from the local non-profit community. We are excited to welcome her to lead Jubilee Women’s Center as we grow and evolve to meet the needs of women in our community, continuing and building upon the work we have been doing for over 40 years. Prior to welcoming Jarrard, Jubilee Women’s Center had Liz Swanson, Senior Associate with the Valtas Group, acting as Interim Executive Director to offer leadership and stability during their search. Swanson will transition the role over to Jarrard at the end of the month, readying her to lead moving forward. Please join us in congratulating Elisabeth Jarrard and wishing success for Jubilee Women’s Center in the coming years!
