About Edmonds College Foundation
The Edmonds College Foundation awards scholarships to help students overcome barriers that may prevent them from reaching their full potential. These funds are designed to meet students’ needs in a way that is flexible and customized to their specific situation. In addition to annual scholarships, they can also offer quarterly awards to keep students on the path to graduation, and one-time emergency grants to meet students’ basic needs. Additionally, the Foundation provides the kinds of programs needed to offer meaningful educational opportunities for students of all backgrounds to increase access, success, and the potential for excellence.
Working in the South Snohomish County area, the Edmonds College Foundation operates by the principle that education can transform its community by supporting them people who live there. With support from individuals and companies alike, they aim to give a voice to the belief that every educational and career goal has value for the individual pursuing it, fostering diversity and community enrichment. Their various efforts include support for incarcerated individuals, low income families, first-generation college students, and women interested in pursuing careers in STEM fields.
